Lunar New Year with Panda Express and CHoR!

Patient families from Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU visited local Panda Express restaurants last weekend to celebrate Lunar New Year and thank our partners for their support over this past year. In 2019 alone, Richmond-area Panda Express locations raised $58,849 by inviting their guests to make a contribution when paying for their meals. This generous gift will support the many services and resources provided at CHoR, and allow our hospital to continue building the programs which serve more than 62,000 children annually. Our friends at Panda Express believe in supporting the delivery of excellent care and enabling critical research happening at CHoR. They also strongly believe in ensuring that when a family is in our care they have access to special services that improve a child’s quality of life. CHoR is proud to offer wonderful resources like child life services, and music, art and pet therapy programs among others that help children heal in special ways. We are incredibly appreciative for all that the Panda Express family does to help us nurture the champion in every child.
