Celebrating Hope: Three New Panda Cares Centers of Hope Open in 2025

At Panda Express, giving back is at the heart of everything they do. Through their Panda Cares initiative, they continue to bring comfort, joy, and support to children and families in hospitals across the country. This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the opening of three new Panda Cares Centers of Hope, offering much-needed resources to those in need.

James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center – Greenville, NC

The James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital proudly unveiled its Panda Cares Center of Hope, a testament to the unwavering support from Panda Express. Since 2016, the company has raised over $345,000 for the hospital, providing essential resources and creating a nurturing environment for young patients and their families. The newly dedicated Center of Hope will offer therapeutic play, family support programs, and other child life services designed to uplift and heal. Read more here.

Norton Children’s Hospital – Louisville, KY

Families at Norton Children’s Hospital now have access to a comforting and private space within the newly opened Panda Cares Center of Hope. Located near the emergency department, the center offers a tranquil environment for parents and guardians to recharge while their children receive care. The space is equipped with cozy seating, calming amenities, and resources to support emotional well-being during challenging times. Read more here.

Manning Family Children’s (formerly Children’s Hospital New Orleans)

The Manning Family Children’s Hospital proudly opened its the Panda Care Playground which will provide a place for patients and their families a place to find comfort and allow kids to be kids. Play is healing and it’s also the language children use to interact with the world. Thanks to Panda Express’ generosity, this Center of Hope is a beacon of comfort and resilience.
