AFP honoring Panda Express – Panda Cares for National Philanthropy Day

Panda Express is an amazing organization and a wonderful supporter of CMN Hospitals. We are thrilled to join alongside the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Greater Los Angeles Chapter to honor Panda Express – Panda Cares with the Outstanding Corporate Foundation Award for National Philanthropy Day.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. The core activities through which AFP fulfills this mission include education, training, mentoring, research, advocacy and certification programs.

National Philanthropy Day is an observance designated by AFP. It is a day to celebrate charitable activities, in the form of donated financial, in-kind and volunteering support. It is celebrated with blog postings by AFP highlighting outstanding charitable activities, as well as luncheons and awards throughout the USA by different AFP chapters.

AFP shared that the selection for this award was easy as Panda Cares (the foundation of Panda Express) stood out above all other nominations. We are grateful for the ongoing partnership with Panda and the many ways they address the physical, social, emotional and mental needs of children, bringing them courage and hope to heal and thrive.
