DM at the University of Washington Raises Over $17,000
Over 200 students at the University of Washington stood For The Kids treated at Seattle Children’s Hospital; raising more than $17,000. These funds will go to help support the hospital’s greatest needs such as the uncompensated care fund.
During the event, students learned the morale dance, had a presentation from Harry the Husky and the UW Dance team, learned hip-hop from one of the clubs on campus, and got a good workout as they learned Balkan dancing.
UW Dance Marathon joined the Miracle Network Dance Marathon movement in 2016, DM at the University of Washington has helped sick and injured kids like Nate Jasper receive the best care available. Nate has been a part of DM at UW since the beginning. His story helps to inspire the dancers. Nate is DM@UW’s oldest miracle child. He’s an asset because the dancers are able to hear from someone that is very similar in age. Nate is hoping to continue being a miracle kid until he can be a dancer himself.
We raised $17,290.04!
