Raising Cane's Comes to Alaska & The Children's Hospital at Providence

When a new restaurant comes to town it’s very exciting, but not quite as exciting as having the restaurant founders/Children’s Miracle Network donor extraordinaires visit your hospital! The Children’s Hospital at Providence was honored to host Raising Cane’s Founder Todd Graves and Panda Express Founder Peggy Cherng along with their staff. We are so grateful for the $10,000 gift they made on top of the $43,000 they raised in 2018.

Todd and Peggy visited Alaska to open the new Raising Cane’s restaurant. This new joint venture will support The Children’s Hospital at Providence with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising. The 4 Panda Express locations in Alaska have been raising CMNH funds since their first location opened here in 2015. Panda Express has already raised well over $100,000 in Alaska these past 4 years. This generous support makes a lasting impact on Alaska children and families.

During their visit the whole team got to meet children’s hospital leadership, child life specialists, and patients who were all happy to get to say thank you in person. Thank you to Todd and Peggy for the visit and for the incredible support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide!
