Panda Express & The Coca-Cola Company Give Good Cheer This Holiday Season
Celebrate the season with family and friends at Panda Express and help kids treated at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
Every day of the year, Panda Express guests and associates help kids in Central Florida and beyond by rounding up their meal purchases at the register at their favorite Panda Express. Donations directly help almost every area of our hospital, from our Trauma Bay and our new inpatient rehab facility, to our pediatric and neonatal critical care transport trucks. Every donation made at our local Panda Express locations have an important and genuine impact on the care we’re able to provide to our patients and families.
This year, from Nov. 25 through Dec. 28, 2019, guests can also help through the Get a Coke & Give Good Cheer initiative. Purchase any Coca-Cola beverage and Panda will donate holiday cheer to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals up to $250,000*.
It’s a great way to inspire hope and spread joy to children and families like one of our Miracle families, the Jacobson’s, this holiday season.
Patrick and William Jacobson were born at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies when their mom was only 26 weeks pregnant. Patrick, born weighing 1.13 pounds, and William, born weighing 1.14 pounds, are surviving triplets, and say they received their fighting spirit from their brother who lived for four days. Both Patrick and William underwent cardiac surgery before they were 12 days old, and spent nearly four months fighting for their lives in special incubators called Giraffe Beds, which were purchased with funds raised by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ partners. Over time, Patrick struggled to eat and gain weight. He was diagnosed with Failure to Thrive at six months old, and at 18 months old Patrick was diagnosed with Periventricular Leukomalacia and Cerebral Palsy. Patrick has had many more procedures and medical complications in his life, but nothing stops him and his brother from being bright, inquisitive 11 year olds!
