Panda Express Comes To Doernbecher To Celebrate!

Here at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital we are incredibly lucky to have the support from so many different Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partners. Each year this dedicated group of supporters raise over $3 million to help us heal kids today, while working to find cures for tomorrow!

In 2018 Panda Express customers and employees raised over $375,000 for Oregon families and cemented themselves as our fastest growing partner for the third year in a row! Last month we invited local area Panda Express managers and staff to join us for a day celebrating their success!

Visitors were treated to a meet and greet with our 2019 Children’s Miracle Network Champion, Chloe Lam, a behind the scenes tour of the hospital and a presentation from our very own PANDA team (Pediatric and Neonatal Doernbecher Ambulance).

Our PANDA team transports over 900 patients who are incredibly sick or critically injured to Doernbecher each year so these patients receive the care they so desperately need. The funds that Panda Express raises are vital to our hospital and our ability to help kids from every county in Oregon, SW Washington and beyond!

Stores were also given awards to celebrate their amazing fundraising efforts throughout the entire year!

Little did they know, they also crossed a very significant milestone. Since 2007, Panda Express has grown to become one of our largest supporters and in 2018 they officially surpassed over $1 million raised cumulatively.

We are so proud of their hard work to join this small yet mighty group of supporters! Can’t wait to see what they accomplish in 2019!
