Panda Cares for the Community

Earlier this week, a shipment of 30,000 (yes, thirty THOUSAND!) surgical masks arrived at our hospital warehouse, courtesy of our generous partner, Panda Express! Panda Express has long been a partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals like The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH), raising funds at the registers in their restuarants. But with the COVID-19 pandemic and hospitals facing PPE shortages, Panda resturants decided to go above and beyond and help get PPE into the hands of frontline healthcare workers. Their generous donation of 30,000 masks will help to ensure the safety of our patients and the caregivers at BBCH and Maine Medical Center- and we couldn’t be more grateful.
