Celebrating Chinese New Year with our Amazing Partner Panda Express!
Chinese New Year kicked off on Friday, February 16th and we’re celebrating along with our friends at Panda Express! One of our Children’s Miracle Network Hospital partners, the Panda Express in South Portland fundraises year-round to support The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. And we’re very excited to announce that in 2017, the South Portland Panda Express had a record-breaking year of fundraising for BBCH: they raised an incredible $18,647!!! This is a 60% increase over their 2016 fundraising total of $11,063- what an accomplishment! Nationally, Panda Express has raised more than $37 million for CMN Hospitals since 2007.
To celebrate, we presented the staff at the South Portland Panda Express with a thank-you certificate, and some traditional red envelopes to bring in the Chinese New Year!
