Hurley Children’s Hospital is excited to celebrate Panda Cares Day this Saturday, August 8th. On this day, every online order of your favorite meal will help Hurley kids! For Dominique Henry, a shift leader at the Panda Express location closest to Hurley Children’s Hospital, making the ask is second nature.

“We are asking every customer… They are very generous with their money. They ask us if we can accept tips and we just tell them that the tips go straight to Hurley Children’s Hospital.”

A mother herself, Henry says her favorite part about working for Panda Express is the opportunity she gets to connect with the community.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been at a company that supports a hospital locally… it’s really great to see that we are really making a difference when it comes down to the children,” she says.

As a long-time corporate partner, Panda Express has contributed over $85 million to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Last year alone, more than $56,000 was raised for sick and injured children here at Hurley Children’s Hospital.
